Problem

SmartLuco app is not able to connect to a zone from the 'Control' and 'Manage' menu.

Symptoms

Control menu is stuck at "Connecting"

"Failed to connect to a proxy device" keeps showing

Solution

Ensure that you are physically near the zone you are attempting to connect to

  1. Move to the location where the devices that belong to the zone you are attempting to connect to are installed.
  2. Navigate to 'Zone' menu and select the zone you wish to connect to.

Select the zone again from the 'Zone' menu

  1. Navigate to 'Zone' menu and select the zone you wish to connect to.

Reset the Bluetooth modem by switching it off and on again

  1. From the top drawer menu of your device, switch off Bluetooth.
  2. Switch it on again.

Restart the app

  1. Close the app.
    1. On Android, open the 'Recent Apps' (tap the bottom navigation bar button) and slide the SmartLuco app to either left or right.
    2. On iOS, open the 'Recent Apps' by double tapping the Home button and slide the SmartLuco app upwards.
  2. Start the app again.
